Debut Novel, A Life Cut Short

Wow!

Writing a book is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Getting it down first time around wasn't so bad, but perfecting it was a whole other ballgame. Then finding and dealing with editing...all I can say is, "Whew!" 

But that's not the end. Learning and dealing with platforms such as: Amazon, IngramSparks, etc. is yet again, a whole other ballgame. I didn't even know the rules to this game. I'm still learning them, honestly.

Then there's promotion! Which to someone like myself, is an anxiety nightmare!

Fast forward...and here I am. 

I have a Facebook account... facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090682936856 and now a blogger.com. Welcome!

I'm on the fence about a website, hiring a book promoter, contacting my local library, and so many other ideas I keep reading about to help with getting my book out there. Again, the anxiety of it all!!! Plus, I have to admit, I don't want to be famous. The point of this is to sell books, yes, but I don't expect to get rich. I would like to make my money back at least, if that's not too much to ask--but, rich and famous? No, thank you.

My hope is that people who read my book are entertained, that it brings a smile to their face, that it's something to talk about with a friend, that it helps evolve their own imagination.

So, without further delay, may I present my debut novel, A Life Cut Short.


The blurb reads:

Camry is a down-on-her-luck college student with no money, no prospects, and a slew of unfortunate incidents trailing her. Cassia is a New York heiress with no life—literally.
When Camry learns of Cassia's ghost and her unfulfilled bucket list, she agrees to help check a few items off, but the final task—stopping Cassia's killer—might prove more perilous than she expected.
With time running out before the killer strikes again, it's up to Camry to alert the next victim. But her own string of misfortune is cinching tighter around her with every passing day, and the very universe seems to be conspiring against her.
There's no guarantee that the next life cut short won't be her own.

My BookViral Review - Part I

My BookViral Review - Part I I've labeled this Part I because I fully intend on making a Part II...eventually. I just don't want to speak to soon and jinx something, but I will say this much...I'm extremely impressed with BookViral so far. When you go to their website,  https://bookviralreviews.com/submit-books-for-review/ ,  you can then submit your book details. Since my book is listed on Amazon, they then read through the sample to see if my writing was something they wanted to take on. With me passing that first test, they agreed to take on my review.
